Scott M. Adam
Scott Adam practices in a variety of areas of civil litigation, including medical negligence and personal injury. Mr. Adam’s practice primarily involves medical malpractice with a focus on defending hospitals, physicians and other medical professionals.
Mr. Adam earned his undergraduate degree in business from the University of Kansas. He also learned his law degree from the University of Kansas. During law school, he participated in The London Law Consortium.
Mr. Adam is a member of both the bars for the States of Kansas and Missouri. Additionally, he is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts in Kansas and Western Missouri. Mr. Adam has given several seminars relating to issues arising in civil litigation and authored an article published in the Kansas Bar Association Journal relating to tort damages in Kansas. Mr. Adam has served as lead trial counsel in over 500 cases. He has significant trial experience in both Missouri and Kansas obtaining in excess of 30 favorable verdicts in cases involving physicians, nurses, hospitals and nursing homes.
Mr. Adam is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. He was elected and remains a Fellow in the International Society of Barristers. He has also been selected the last several years as one of the “Top 100 Litigators in the State of Kansas” by the American Society of Legal Advocates.
